Do not use this phone company. They overcharged me by $15.
Additionally, they have rude customer service. They do not even know how to properly communicate with someone, and they are very unprofessional.

Verified Reviewer |Simple mobil trade-in program is a scam
I do not believe that simple mobile even exist. I have been waiting 2 months or more on a refund where I traded-in my old mobile phone and have yet to receive a refund.
I was on the trac phone website where I bought a phone from them. a window from simple mobile popped up asking a me to trade in my old phone. when I received my new phone in the mail I was advised to mail back the old phone. I have a trade-in order number where the company received the phone.
they told me to wait at least 2-4 weeks to receive a pre-paid Mastercard debit card. instead they sent a virtual pre-paid Mastercard to my email with instructions how to redeem. the card do not work. trac phone has been giving me the run around about the old phone and the debit card.
they say simple mobile is their sister company and I am still waiting on my money. will contact the federal trade commission.

Need top up airtime regularly!
I now realize that what the company advertized and promised me isn't the same thing as I have to continually load airtime, failing which, my outgoing calls are blocked!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I had just gotten a cell phone and was trying to get service on it.
I paid for my service, but it never even activated.
My agent was unhelpful in every way. I have no way of making phone calls, yet all they could do was keep telling me to call a number that I have NO way of calling, and then they ended the chat on me!

Hackers used my Simple Mobile cell phone account information and credit cards to *** and send money to fraudulent companies. I lost $2000 from my bank accounts and missed out on music business deals.
Simple Mobile didn't help at all.
I had to buy a total of 30 SIM cards to fix the issue. They still won't correct my birth date and email information.

DO NOT GO TO SIMPLE MOBILE IF U WANT TO MAINTAIN THE LITTLE BIT OF MENTAL SANITY U HAVE LEFT.
Their customer service representatives are insensitive, rude, robotic turds who are paid to talk passive aggressive in their little Indian accents, and offer minimal assistance when THEY are in the wrong. Calling them only further infuriates you, and the situation. Every time i call for help with my internet- which goes out with the ACP $30 plan right in the middle of the month- they are of no help or understanding. Why am i paying you ppl $40 a month for add on internet when ACP is supposedly paying the company $30 of my bill?! So simple mobile walks away with $70 off of my name and account and i still get *** internet service that cuts off mid month???

I have been disputing my monthly charges for the last 7 months I've had to explain the situation to my bank every time.My phone was lost so I tried to cancel on their website but it required a security code,I called multiple times to cancel and they refused because I dont have the phone the get the code all they had to say over and over again is "im very sorry sir".I have even changed my credit card number multiple times and they are still able to charge it no matter how many times I change the card number,the only thing i could do is close out my credit card but I refuse to ruin my credit over this.

Trying to change a phone that broke to a different phone with the same number. Very hard to do through your system. Customer service transferred to the experts and the phone hung up.

Good afternoon, my name is Joseph. The reason for my email is because I was given the wrong plan with misinformation. I was told for $10, I would receive 30 days of unlimited talk and text with 7 days of high-speed data. This misinformation was given to me on 05/06/2024, via a phone call from an agent that represents your company. On 05/11/2024 at 4:15 pm EST, I called the customer service line and spoke to an agent whose badge number is 511410. I informed her that I received a text stating my service is going to be cut off in 2 days when I just paid for my services to be valid for 30 days. This agent, whose badge number is 511410, stated that the original agent gave me misinformation and that there is absolutely nothing she can do about it.
I then asked this agent if there was any way I could get an extension, being that I was misled by the information the prior agent gave me. She refused to give me an extension or a refund and became very hostile and rude about the situation. I've been a loyal customer with this company for quite some time and I am extremely upset that not only will my services be cut off, but the agent was unapologetic and extremely rude, making matters even worse for me.
I would like to file a complaint on the agent whose badge number is 511410 and on the agent who gave me the wrong plan with misinformation. My phone number is 161********. I look forward to hearing from someone via text or phone call. Thank you.
