I tried to reup minutes online from Simple mobile and the system showed an error that my transaction/payment was declined. I tried to use another card and same message showed.

I called the customer service and the lady who picked up my call asked for my mobile no.

and the reason for my calling. Before i could finish explaining it seemed the line was cut so i tried to call again and a lady again asked for my mobile and my reason for calling.

After explaining to them she simply told me that the only remedy is for me to go to their local dealer to reup my minutes. They cannot explain why their system is not accepting my payments...duh!

As a side note: You CAN in fact still dial 911 - in fact ANY cell phone with ANY tower connection... active or not...

SIM or not... if it can see the tower and the tower can see it? Works for 911. I used to keep an old T-Mo cheapy $20 phone in my glovebox running off a trickle charger just in case anything ever went horribly wrong and I didn't have a cell available.

Also bought one for my grandmother's Jeep, and she keeps it in there for the same reason. Never needed a cell, but 911 is nice to have.

I've been having the same problem all month. For what it's worth, I've tried with a Visa credit card from Chase Bank and a Mastercard debit card from Citibank.

I've even been on the phone with the bank while trying to make the purchase online. They said that there was an address check, but that's it.

No charge was ever even made. Simple Mobile seems to be full of it.

same problem here. it says that the paymet is declined and it seems that customer service doesn't even know what they are doing???

This has been going on for months with Simple Mobile. It is rather ridiculous that they continue to have issues accepting payment on their website.

It almost seems like they want customers to leave.

Last month I had to visis a dealer to re-up. This month I found a vendor online who would send instant PIN codes (for less than Simple Mobile's cost actually...just a few bucks).

That is the only online way I've found that works. I'll give Simple Mobile another month, but after that I'm thinking of switching back to T-Mobile's $60/month plan...the additional $20/month cost savings isn't worth the hassle.

That's exactly what happened to me... so does that mean we have to (as in it's the only option)go to a simple mobile dealer!??

wtf man I have always pay online and never have a problem till now, I call and they say I don't have an email which is *** cause when you log in you need an email, and i can log in. :( locos.

I ask my bank account to fix the problem to send my money back because I pay and no pin number wtf i never had this problem simple mobile what happen to u, after u add the unlimete 3g everything sucks. :cry

Same problem this sucks!!!!!!!

My phone is now disconnected because I cannot make an online payment. I could not even call 911 in a emergency situation.

Simple mobile is pure rubbish. I regret leaving my old cell phone provider. I rather spend more for peace of mind than to deal with this ***. I can't even call the customer care to reup.

Like Really. Really!!!!!

I've had the exact experience three times in the last two months.

Ha! Nothing... just "try again later"

Yup same problem... tryna get them to talk to their IT people to get it sorted...

theyre just putting me on hold. Let's see if they do something.

Initially, they sent me a reminder to reup before 11:59pm that day if not my services will be cut. Since i was confident with purchasing minutes online as it should be, i neded up getting frustrated and at 8pm the stores are already close.

I just kept my fingers crossed what will happened the next morning.

Finally, i was able to purchase minutes not online from a Simple mobile dealer.

I'm thinking of switching to another carrier called h20 wireless. I need to research further if this is a good choice

Dude! I am having the SAME problem.

1) Can't take CC over the phone. I guess they forgot this is 2011.

2) Customer Care reads textbook answers, but at least they are english speaking Americans.

3) Can't update my account and add a credit card because it tells me I need to add my email but clicking 'update account'

4) Can't click 'update account' because the service is suspended.

5) Can't buy these make believe PINs online because their system declines every credit card. Customer care is also aware of this "been down all week" answers which probably means greater than 1 month.

There are many choices for prepaid carriers know what they are doing, this is sadly not one. Oh and it's not unlimited 4G. It's very metered 4G before you are dropped to 3G speeds.

For a company to make it difficult for you to give them money = failed company. They just don't like money I guess. The actual service itself is great...but then again there are like 3 other prepaid carriers at least that use the same tmobile service :)
